I joined hubpages in 2009, wrote 10 or 12 hubs then got destracted with school and work. I started, sucessful operated and then sold a business during this time, as well as continue in my course of study as a teacher for secondary education. Since then I have simplified my life a nit and focused my efforts. This translate to "I'm back!" Since I am a full time student I do write in spurts, but I do write and it is about stuff that interests me and hopefuly you.
I have recently learned that I have a "learning disability" that basically means I think faster than I can communicate. I have managed thanks to lots of practice overcome the communication block that results, but as a result I tend to know a lot and learn fast. This in turn leads to me being opinionated. That being said, I love seeing different points of view as well as sharing my own.
Now comes my desire to help others and to teach. My profession of choice is teacher. Specificly highschool level social studies and special education. Additionally, I have a great passion for technology, politics, economics, religion, entrepreneurship, sociology, history, philosophy, cooking, baking & DIY and you get the crazy mixed up person that is yours truely. While I am not originally from the beautiful state of Utah, I truely love this place and hope to stay here for a while. Sure there are negatives, but every place has them. I grew up in California and was born in the South. My family is an interesting mix of Southern Baptist and Latter-day Saints (Mormon). My wife's family is Thai Buhdist and Latter-day Saints. All in all, it makes life interesting and helps me understand other cultures and ideas.
I guess my point is I know a lot and that is my credentials for my ramblings here on Hubpages. If you agree with me great. If you don't great. I suppose the reason for articles and forums such as this is to continue learning and facilitate descussion. Feel free to share your thoughts.
P.S. Check out my business at MyTextSwap.com.
